Types of Therapy:
I use techniques from a variety of theories and types of therapy, including,
Frequency of Sessions:
- I generally see clients once weekly, especially at the beginning.
- If your budget does not permit this, I am willing to discuss scheduling sessions every 2 weeks.
- If we have been working together for awhile, and feel that you have made progress on your therapy goals, we may choose to “phase out” the ending by meeting every 2-4 weeks for a few months.
- After therapy has ended, you may later experience a time of stress in which you face a new crisis or some of your symptoms return. You may call me to start therapy again, or just schedule 1-2 sessions until you are feeling more confident.
